Asphalt plant made by the german manufacturer AMMAN, whose capacity is 250 ton/h, is one of the biggest in the area of Ex-Jugoslavia, located together with a plant for the separation of river gravel in Razboj, Municipality of Srbac, on the arterial highway Laktasi – Srbac.
The asphalt plant is fully automated.
In 11 separated baskets milled material is added, and heated up to 180˚C, and then it is dosed according to the asphalt production recipe. Then it is mixed with bitumen, which is heated to 170˚C and after that filler is added.
The above described mixture mixed in a mixer whose capacity is 3.3 t creates asphalt mass. Within the plant, beside mixer there are three silos which are heated for the storage of asphalt mass capacity of 300 t. The plant has 5 tanks for bitumen; two of them have a capacity of 100 t, three of 70 t and one of 40 m3 for fuel oil, that is used for maintenance of bitumen temperature and heating of mentioned fractions.
Quality of asphalt is tested every day in IUGERS – Public Institution for Urban Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology of Republic of Srpska.
Asphalt plant meets all ISO 9001 – 2008 standards.
