Separation plant for washing, milling and screening of fractions is located in the plant RJ RAZBOJ 17 km away from the municipality of Laktasi on the local road Laktasi – Srbac.
Stone aggregate separation “SBM” is an Austrian product and meets all ISO 9001-2008 standards. Capacity of the separation is 80 ton/h.
Production process of the separation plant is completely closed. Natural gravel is transported from the bank of Vrbas River flowing nearby. Gravel is transported to the separation baskets, followed by the process of washing and separation of the material. At the end comes the process of milling and screening of the material. In this way, we obtain a natural gravel of all fractions from 0-31 mm, if necessary 0-60 mm, and the same are used for the production of asphalt as well as for high-quality concrete and concrete elements.
This work organization allows us to give to the market reliable delivery of the mentioned stone fractions at any moment with all necessary attest documents.
On the mentioned plants two separate processes are carried out and two types of materials are produced. These materials are applied in the wide range of civil engineering during construction and production of concrete, asphalt and for finishing works in construction.
The first process is the washing and separation of natural river gravel fractions. The material is passed through a separation and fully cleaned and impurities are removed. After that, material is separated based on granulation at different screens prescribed by the standards in construction and are defined by grain size.
This way the following fractions are produced:
- First fraction 0 – 4 mm washed separation,
- Second fraction 4 – 8 mm
- Third fraction 8 – 16 mm
- Forth fraction 16 – 32 mm
All fractions have the basic application and they are used for the production of concrete, and beside that they are used for making of mortar, glaze, for brickwork and as a filter and drainage layer and as a base under paved surfaces (fractions 0-4 and 4-8 mm).
The second process is the process used for washing and then for crushing and grinding of materials in a crusher and then screening to the grain size fractions.
Crushing is carried out using a butt crushing plant, which processes over 80 m3 of material per hour and with a mil manufactured by SBM which processes approximately 60 m3 of material per hour.
This process gives the best quality in the production of material i.e. fractions used for the production process of all and the most demanding types of concrete and asphalt layers, bituminous bearing and finishing asphalt-concrete layers.
Crushing process gives us the following fractions:
- 0-3.5 mm first fraction
- 3.5-5.5 mm second
- 5.5-9.5 mm third
- 9.5-11.5 mm forth
- 11.5-17.5 mm fifth
- 17.5-22.5 mm sixth
- 22.5-32.5 mm seventh fraction
These fractions allow making of high quality recipe for the production of asphalt and concrete, because it is possible in the right way to dose the necessary materials by granulation, which provides different types of load-bearing capacity for lighter and heavier traffic loads as well as for production of different qualities of concrete mixtures.
Crushed fractions are primary used in the production process of asphalt mass and concrete mixture. In addition, they are used in other areas, such as: brickwork, rendering 0-3.5, base under cubes and different types of paving 3,5-5,5 5,5-9,5, as drainage and filter layers, for making of drainage channels and absorbing wells 11,5-17,5 17,5-22,5 22,5 -32,5.
